- Participants will understand the difference between the functional analysis methodology developed by Iwata et al., 1984/92 and the definition of the term “functional analysis.”
- Participants will be able to determine what factors should be considered when choosing assessment formats.
- Participants will be able to identify four different functional analysis methods (latency, trial, IISCA, and precursor) and state the strengths and weaknesses of each assessment.
